Narrow to rounded shrub with shiny, dark green foliage, masses of fragrant flowers over summer, and spines along branches.
Excellent habitat plant, attractive in flower and fruit, but should be sited with regard to spines along branches. Prune from young to produce bushy plants in dry areas.
