Dense upright shrub with fibrous bark on larger stems, mid-dark green obovate, aromatic foliage, and clusters of flowers within the leaf axils.
A useful dense screening or hedge shrub for moist areas. Will grow in heavy shade. Can flower profusely, making it very attractive. Most plants have a pendulous habit.
