Upright shrub to small tree, with bright green sickle-shaped foliage and masses of scented flowerheads, followed by flat seed pods.
Great specimen plant, or use in multiples to create a screen or windbreak. Australia's floral emblem.
Indigenous name: KARRANK (Gunditjmara)
Gum eaten or used to make a sweet drink. Bark used to treat indigestion. Fibre also used to make string for bags and baskets.
