Spreading sedge with bright green foliage and tall flower spikes to 45cm.
Use in pond pots and bog gardens. Commonly used in trapping silt in streams and for stabilising creek banks.
Indigenous name: BUNGUD (Wemba Wemba)
The long stems were commonly split into separate fibres for twine and basket making.
